Columbus, Ohio-based insurtech firm Bold Penguin has made the artificial intelligence infrastructure powering its Digital Exchange available to carriers and brokers through a newly launched product called DeX ai, the company announced Sept. 24, 2026.
The platform gives outside partners programmatic access to the same intelligence layer Bold Penguin uses internally, delivered through application programming interfaces, a Model Context Protocol server, and direct agent-to-agent connections — a technical architecture designed to allow automated systems to interact without human intermediaries.
